Making Car Fuel From Atmosphere

Researchers from the South West are working on a £1.4 million project.This Project could adopt carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and convert it into car fuel.

The project targets to develop porous materials that can absorb the pollutants that causes global warming in the atmosphere and turn it into important chemicals that can be used for making car fuel or plastics in a process powered by renewable solar energy.

The researchers hope that in the future the porous materials could be used to line factory chimneys to take carbon dioxide pollutants from the atmosphere.Thus reducing the effects of climate change or global warming due to pollutants.

IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS)

IMS refers to internet protocol multimedia subsystem.

IMS is the telecom architecture for offering multimedia and voice servieces over ip framework.IMS is defined by 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP).IMS supports multiple access types including GSM, CDMA,WCDMA,WLAN,and other packet data applications.IMS will provide internet servieces such as web browsing, email,instant messaging and video confrencing from any location.New servieces such as WAP,MMS will be introduced at the top level ofpacket switched network.

IMS uses open standard ip protocol,hence users will be able to utilize all the servieces while roaming as well.So a multimedia seesion between two ims users, between one ims user and one internet user,between two internet users is established using same protocol.Effectively IMS provides wide range of servieces via packet and circuit switched networks.

Key thing about IMS is that it is intended as open system architecture.Some applications where IMS can be used are as follows:
